The images below present selections from sixteen sets of Face to Face, 24" × 24" × 26" (cast concrete). The works were produced during an artist residency and exhibition titled Art Rally: Koumi, Japan (2017). Two of the sets were installed at the Koumi Machi Museum of Art, while the remaining fourteen were placed throughout the town of Koumi — many of which remain on view in public sites today.

Prior to the residency, I developed the original form and fabricated fiberglass molds, which were then used on site to cast the concrete busts. Additional documentation from this residency and exhibition can be found in the “Select Exhibits” section of this website.
